The Indianapolis based law firm, Lewis And Wilkins LLP, is pleased to become a corporate sponsor of the Marian University athletic program.  The three-year corporate sponsorship agreement includes the firm’s name to be prominently displayed on the scoreboard of the newly constructed St Vincent Health Field, which is home to the football team, the Marian University Knights.

Marian University is a Catholic and Franciscan institution of higher learning and has been located in Indianapolis since 1937.  The university’s enrollment is 2,121.  The university’s football team, the Knights, play their home opener at St Vincent Health Field on September 19, 2009 against Grand View University.  The Knights’ home stadium seats 3,000 spectators and boasts a synthetic grass playing field surrounded by an eight-lane track.

“Becoming a corporate sponsor of the Knights’ athletic department made a lot of sense,” says John H. Lewis, partner of Lewis And Wilkins LLP.  “Many of our attorneys are Catholics active in the community.  Marian University is committed to academic excellence and promoting solid values.  These are the same qualities that define our law firm,” added Lewis.
