John Lewis, a partner of Indianapolis law firm LEWIS AND WILKINS LLP, was appointed by the Lawrence City Council to serve as a member of the Redevelopment Commission in 2013.

The Redevelopment Commission (RDC) was created in 2006 to further the work of the Fort Harrison Reuse Authority. The last several years have seen great strides in the redevelopment of Pendleton Pike through the efforts of the Redevelopment Commission.

Mr. Lewis is excited again to provide his time to the Commission, “The projects the RDC has undertaken over the years have had an important impact on the community, and I am happy to bring my ideas to the table to improve this area even more for the citizens of Lawrence.”
