Indianapolis – LEWIS AND WILKINS LLP Partner Paul O. Mullin has been elected to the Board of Directors of the BRAIN INJURY ASSOCIATION OF INDIANA.  The association was founded in 1981; members include individuals with brain injuries, family members, friends, and professionals who work with people who have suffered from brain and head injuries.  The association educates the public and increases statewide awareness of brain injuries, serious disabilities with lifelong consequences, through the development and distribution of informational materials, news, media and notification of conferences and symposia.  The association strives to prevent brain injury through public awareness, education and legislation.

“It is humbling to be elected to the board of BIAI,” said Mullin.  He continued “this organization has been providing Hoosiers with a wealth of resources on this specific type of catastrophic injury for over three decades. The incoming board president has announced his specific goals for 2015 and I’m looking forward to contributing to that agenda.”

Mullin has been representing governments, businesses and individuals since 2005.  His practice area is civil litigation, which has Mullin frequently involved in legal proceedings in which a person has sustained a traumatic brain injury, spinal cord injury, or significant nerve damage.  He can be contacted at mullin@lewisandwilkins.com.
