Ryan’s primary practice area is civil litigation. Ryan has conducted numerous jury trials on civil rights, premises liability, and employment matters in both state and federal courts. According to the Indiana Jury Verdict Reporter, Ryan performed the most civil jury trials of any attorney in the state of Indiana in 2025. He represents governments and governmental actors in state tort and federal civil rights litigation.
Ryan graduated Indiana University – Bloomington with a degree in Public Financial Management. Ryan graduated with honors from Indiana University – McKinney School of Law. He served as an Articles Editor for the Indiana Law Review and Chief Justice of the Moot Court Society.
