Before beginning her legal career, Laura Brown pursued pre-medical studies at the University of Oregon. She earned a General Science degree with minors in Chemistry and Spanish.  She spent several years working in various healthcare settings.

Laura is a graduate of Willamette College of Law in Salem, Oregon. While in law school, Laura clerked at the Oregon Department of Justice, Health and Human Services Division and an insurance defense firm. She was an editor for Willamette Law Review. In 2021, she graduated magna cum laude and was admitted to the Oregon Bar. In 2022, she was admitted to the Indiana Bar.  At Lewis And Wilkins, Laura works in civil rights litigation.

Laura resides in Greenwood with her pug, Frank.
